JANUARY 2018 - CINCINNATI, OH
Mike's Carwash presented a check for $37,779.88 to the Marvin Lewis Community Fund after the final Bengals game of the season against the Baltimore Ravens.
The donation was a result of all of the proceeds from Mike's "2 Sacks You Save" promotion during the Bengals 2017/2018 season. Mike's Carwash Celebrates 70 Years
JANUARY 2018 - LOVELAND, OH
Mike's Carwash will reach a milestone this June, celebrating 70 years in the car wash industry. The company has grown from being Indiana's first automated car wash in 1948 to one of the largest exterior-only car wash chains in the nation.
Mike's Carwash plans to commemorate the 70th anniversary with numerous celebratory customer giveaways, a 70 Year sweepstakes and a 'Mike's Day' in June, offering discounted washes at all 23 locations.
"It gives me great pride to be celebrating our 70th anniversary," says Joe Dahm, founder of Mike's Carwash. "We have come a long way since my brother, Ed, and I started the business in 1948, but we've held fast to one goal: delivering a clean, quick carwash every time, with a smile to each customer. I've always said,'We're really in the people business, we just happen to wash cars' and I believe much of our success stems directly from treating our boss, the customer, to the best possible experience, every time they visit."
Millions of cars have passed through Mike's wash tunnels since 1948 and the company has grown to 23 locations in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. Mike's has won various awards over the years including Best Employers in Ohio 2014-2017, Best Places to Work in Indiana, and the Goering Center Family & Private Business All Star Award.
"We owe our success to our dedicated team members and loyal customers," says Mike Dahm, president of Mike's Carwash. "And we would like to use our big anniversary as an opportunity to recognize and thank all of the individuals that have worked for and patronized our locations for the past 70 years. We are looking forward to many more years of washing cars and bringing smiles to the communities we serve."
